Therapy

Thoughtful psychological care for adults.

Individualized psychological care is offered online in California or Vermont for people seeking support with life’s challenges. Whether you are navigating new stressors, wanting to deepen coping skills, or hoping to feel more grounded and understood, therapy can be a meaningful space.

What we support

Reaching out for therapy often comes during times of stress, change, or uncertainty. Our goal is to meet you where you are and support you in ways that feel meaningful.

We specialize in concerns such as:

  • Anxiety, stress, and worry
  • Workplace stress and burnout
  • Depression, grief, and trauma
  • Chronic pain and health
  • Identity, change, and transition
  • Fertility, parenthood, and caregiving
  • Women’s reproductive and sexual health

How therapy works

Therapy is collaborative and personal. Online appointments are 55 minutes and shaped around your needs and goals. Some people find that a few sessions provide the clarity they need, while others appreciate having a consistent space to return to over time.

Assessment and consultation

Often 1–3 appointments focused on understanding your concerns and clarifying next steps.

Solution-focused support

Often 6–12 appointments for time-sensitive concerns or a specific area of focus.

Structured, goal-directed therapy

Often 12–24 appointments, which may include at-home exercises and skill-building between sessions.

Ongoing supportive therapy

Frequency and duration vary depending on your goals, needs, and life circumstances.

Our approach

Our approach is collaborative and compassionate, rooted in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mind-body approaches, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Just as important, therapy provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment where your experiences are met with respect and compassion.

Pricing and payment

Healthcare can feel complicated, expensive, and difficult to plan for. We use simple per-visit pricing that is paid at the time of your appointment to help make care more transparent and predictable.

In many cases, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) can be used for reimbursement, and some insurance companies may reimburse out-of-network visits.

When other care may be helpful

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and sometimes another type or level of care may be a better fit. If additional support, local services, or a different treatment approach would be more helpful, we can help guide you toward appropriate care and resources. If you are experiencing an emergency or need immediate support, call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or call or text 988 for free, confidential emotional support.
